  • 10 ounce block of soft tofu
  • 5 tablespoons water
  • 4 tablespoon vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cooking wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 bowl starch


  • Cut the tofu into small squares.
  • Sprinkle starch on the tofu, make each side of tofu covered with a thin layer starch.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan, add tofu and fry until each side becomes golden. Then transfer the tofu and set aside.
  • Mix cooking wine, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, water and salt in a bowl. Heat the mixed sauce in the pan and Stir until it is thick.
  • Add fried tofu into pan and mix well. Transfer the sweet and sour tofu to the plate.
