What is tofu lettuce wraps

Tofu lettuce wraps are mainly composed of tofu, lettuce, rice, carrots, peanuts, etc. Other materials or sauces can be added according to personal preference. This is a highly variable cuisine.

Tofu lettuce wraps recipe

You’ll need:

400g tofu
1 green onion
1 carrot
60g peanuts
90g White rice
3 lettuces
For the sauce
1g salt
0.5g Black pepper
1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
30ml olive
30ml low sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon corn starch

How to make tofu lettuce wraps

1. Press tofu with heavyweight for 30 minutes, drain and cut into small pieces.

2. Mix 1g salt and 1 teaspoon corn starch in a bowl. Heat a pan with 30ml olive, and stir-fry tofu under middle heat for 10 minutes until golden.

3. Add 30ml low sodium soy sauce, 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce and 0.5g black pepper in tofu. Shred carrots, mashed peanuts chop the green onion. Add them in the pan and stir well.

4. Spread the lettuce leaves on a chopping board, and scoop rice into each lettuce leaf and add tofu mixture on it. Serve.
