Sweet and Sour Tofu

Sweet and sour is a compound taste of dishes, which is widely spread in China. There are also some well-known dishes: squirrel fish, pineapple ancient meat, sweet and sour balls and so on. Today, I will introduce a sweet and sour tofu recipe. Which is delicious and healthy.

INGREDIENTS
• 10 ounce block of soft tofu
• 5 tablespoons water
• 4 tablespoon vinegar
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon cooking wine
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
• 1/2 bowl starch

Instructions
1. Cut the tofu into small squares.

2. Sprinkle starch on the tofu, make each side of tofu covered with a thin layer starch.

3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan, add tofu and fry until each side becomes golden. Then transfer the tofu and set aside.

4. Mix cooking wine, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, water and salt in a bowl. Heat the mixed sauce in the pan and Stir until it is thick.

5. Add fried tofu into pan and mix well. Transfer the sweet and sour tofu to the plate.
