Pineapple Fried Tofu
The pineapple is delicious in this year. It is so sweet that my family all fall in love with it. At the same time, it is convenient to make this pineapple fried tofu. It is the simple and fast, sweet and sour appetizer! With this delicious dish, lunch is more exciting.
INGREDIENTS
• 1/2(200k) package firm tofu, drained and cut into 1 inch thick triangular piece
• 1/2 pineapple, chunked
• 2 green onions, minced
• 1(40g)tablespoon ketchup
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 2 medium cloves of garlic, minced
• 2 teaspoons ginger, minced
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
• 1 carrot (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok, add tofu and fry until each side becomes golden.
2. Mix the ketchup, chicken essence, salt, sugar, and starch with water to make seasoning sauce. Set aside.
3. Heat wok with oil, and stir-fry garlic and onions until fragrant.
4. Pour the seasoning sauce, carrot, and tofu into the wok and continue to cook for 2 minutes.
5. Add pineapple and stir-fry for 20 seconds. Transfer it on a plate. Serve.

I JUST made this and ate it. WOW the BEST recipe I’ve ever made with tofu and pineapple. I will definitely be making this again.

Pineapple and tofu somehow goes really well together and I did not always think so. I recently made a grilled tofu tacos with pineapple salsa and we loved it! cant wait to try this!

Woah! Best tofu for me too. I’ve used cornflour before frying (but maybe too little in the past), this turned out really well.
