Pineapple Fried Tofu

INGREDIENTS
• 1/2(200k) package firm tofu, drained and cut into 1 inch thick triangular piece
• 1/2 pineapple, chunked
• 2 green onions, minced
• 1(40g)tablespoon ketchup
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 2 medium cloves of garlic, minced
• 2 teaspoons ginger, minced
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
• 1 carrot (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok, add tofu and fry until each side becomes golden.

2. Mix the ketchup, chicken essence, salt, sugar, and starch with water to make seasoning sauce. Set aside.

3. Heat wok with oil, and stir-fry garlic and onions until fragrant.

4. Pour the seasoning sauce, carrot, and tofu into the wok and continue to cook for 2 minutes.

5. Add pineapple and stir-fry for 20 seconds. Transfer it on a plate. Serve.
