Pickled Mustard Steamed Tofu
Steamed foods retain most of the nutrients in the diet. It also maintains the original flavor of the dishes. And it is easier to digest and suitable for the gastrointestinal system. So the pickled mustard steamed tofu is delicious and good for health!
How to make pickled mustard steamed tofu
INGREDIENTS
• 14 ounce block of silken tofu, drained and cut into 3/4” cubes
• 6 ounces ground pork, minced
• 2 green onions, minced
• 2 teaspoons steamed fish oyster sauce
• 2 teaspoons oyster sauce
• 1/2 bowl pickled mustard, minced
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Mix the pork, pickled mustard, and oyster sauce in a bowl and marinate for 15 minutes.
2. Add the tofu on a plate. Sprinkle the marinated pork and pickled mustard evenly on the tofu.
3. Put the appropriate water in the special steamer of the microwave oven. Add the tofu mixture in a steaming pan, cover the steamer and transfer it in the microwave. Steam it for about 9 minutes.
4. When the tofu is steamed, remove it from the microwave oven. Add the steamed fish oyster sauce and sprinkle green onion on the tofu to serve.
