Crispy Tofu
The Japanese tofu is made into delicious crispy tofu by frying twice and then wrapped in a sweet tomato sauce. This is another delicious!
How to make crispy tofu
INGREDIENTS
• 2 tablespoons ketchup
• 3 tubes Japanese tofu, cut into small pieces of 1cm
• 1/2 bowl starch
• 1 tablespoon sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Put the tofu in the bowl with starch and make each side of tofu covered with a thin layer starch.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok, add tofu and fry until each side becomes golden. Let them cool on a plate and fry again. Then, transfer it on a plate and set aside.
3. Heat a wok with oil, and add ketchup, sugar and a little water in the wok and stir-fry until bubbling. Add 1 tablespoon starch and water in the wok and stir-fry it again until bubbling. Turn off the fire.
4. Add the tofu in the wok and mix well. Transfer on a plate and Serve.

It’s the simplest dish I’ve ever made, but full of flavor and texture!

Made my own hoisin sauce and garnish with sesame seeds and more scallions definitely will make again

Wow! These taste phenomenal, and they’re so easy to make… Since my first batch last weekend I’ve made them three times, they go so fast (and I actually live alone, so that’s just from a couple of guests!).
